A tangible happy memory.
River Song began in 2004 as a reprieve from organic farming. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, our jewelry evokes the essence of the earth. Each piece is carefully crafted by hand, preserving its authentic nature.
My jewelry is also my life story, a collection of tangible happy memories. It is for seekers, dreamers and artists. It is a world of symbolism, indigenous imagery and creative partnerships. Working with small makers in Turkey, India and Mexico, my jewelry contains echoes of each land and culture. I travel directly, ethically sourcing fine gemstones, antique beads and handmade elements from partners that share my principals and vision of sustainability.
For nearly a decade, River Song occupied a sweet brick and mortar shop in Seattle, WA. Our boutique showcased the River Song collection and featured the work of other American and international makers. From our Seattle shop/studio, we also designed and crafted our wholesale jewelry collection. We partnered with my husband Luis to add his original folkloric art to the mix, producing a line of Mexican inspired stationery, milagros and exvotos. We forged life-long friendships and alliances. It was a beautiful time of growth and learning.
In Spring 2018, River Song moved to the colonial town of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Currently renovating an old casita (Casita San Miguel) to house our jewelry workshop and studio, I’ll continue to craft two jewelry collections a year for the trade. We are looking forward to expanding the River Song brand and forging new creative projects to cherish and champion the handmade.
